Our Mission

To Promote the growth of tennis in our community
Vision:  To be part of a world-leading tennis nation
Values:  Teamwork, Passion, Integrity

Hello to All KCTA members as we find ourselves in mid - June already !

There has been a lot of tennis activity at our King City Tennis Club since we opened the new 2022 tennis season .

It has been great to actually get outdoors to play tennis with fellow members as there has been considerable recreational tennis played in combination with the several tennis programs offered by KCTA .

The two Ladies & Mixed C Teams , Monday Night House League and Drop - in Fridays , are well underway and are all off to a successful start , to their respective competitive matches .

The King City Tennis Association and all its membership became members of the Ontario Tennis Association automatically , when you joined KCTA . Being under the OTA umbrella has many benefits and one of those , is the opportunity to be eligible for significant ticket discounts to the National Bank 2022 Ladies Canadian Open Tennis Championship happening this August .

The Executive recently emailed all KCTA members the NB Tennis Open ticket information and links to purchase tickets for this Great annual event. We hope many of our members take advantage of this ticket discount opportunity , to watch world- class Ladies amazing tennis , in person , this August 🎾

Our Just for Kids program run by Eileen Beck continues but begins a new 4 consecutive Wednesdays July program starting July 6th to 27th and limited spaces are still available.

The Jr. Summer Tennis camp run by our club Pro, OTA certified Markus Ziegler , will begin daily , Monday to Friday , 1 PM to 4 PM , July 4th and ending on Friday September 2nd . The first 7 weeks are completely Sold Out . At the time this is being posted , there are limited spaces available week 8 Aug . 22nd and week 9 Aug . 28th .

On behalf of the 2022 KCTA Executive , we wish all of our members a very enjoyable summer , filled with many fun - filled memories of playing tennis.

See You on the Courts
